Psychotherapy & Counselling in Surrey & Hampshire

I practice Psychotherapy and Counselling in Surrey and Hampshire. There are many different types and schools of thought with regard to Counselling and Psychotherapy. My approach is integrative, encompassing theories from the humanistic, psychodynamic, transpersonal and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches.

By working in an integrative manner it allows me to assess and offer the approach that is best suited to your particular needs, whether it is long or short term therapy.

I work under the guidance of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors/Psychotherapists) and therefore adhere to their ethical framework.

I believe that the very essence of my work is dependent on the quality of the working relationship I form with my clients within the therapy room.

The first step after contacting me is to have an initial assessment. This is an opportunity for you to meet me and share information. This will enable you to understand how the counselling process works and for me, an opportunity to decide on the therapy most helpful in encouraging you to explore your concerns. It is also an important step in the initial building of the working relationship between us.
